This Summer's Basic of Faith Sermon series is a re-working and updating of the Basic of Faith Series I published in another blog in 2013-2014. Those sermons were published approximately a month apart and there were no follow-up discussions.
I decided that a re-visiting of the basics (at least what I feel are the basics) would be appropriate in this new context. This time, though, the sermons will be delivered over a 2-1/2 months period: June 18 & 25; July 9, 16, 23 & 30; and August 13, 20 & 27.
There will also be group follow-up discussions on the following dates: July 9, July 23, and August 27 at Kingston United Church. These will be brown-bag events; i.e., bring a lunch - beverages will be provided.
Additional opportunities for discussion will take place at Torbrook Mines on June 28, July 27 and one other date to be determined.
I look forward to some lively and meaningful discussion.
